OAFS Picnic

Our adoption agency is all about community.  Once you’re in, you’re in for life.  They provide ongoing support from networking to counseling to seminars and even biannual get togethers.  They’ve been amazing.  Two weekends ago we attended the summer picnic – luckily right near our house 🙂  It was great to visit with everyone and see new families, families we’ve known awhile now, and meet new friends.

The best part, though, was the Reptile Man.  Actually, this is the Son Of Reptile Man.  It was fantastic – – – and I don’t like reptiles.  Usually.  But I learned a ton and got to see my big girl in full sponge mode.  Oh, and Claire got to try out the swings for the first time….which is always adorable 🙂
