I am the oldest of four. It’d hard for me to imagine what it’s like to be younger….though my “little” brother did his best to put me in my place.
Claire has been colored on, sat on, dragged, poked, squeezed, and pulled, but Evelyn remains her favorite play toy. There is a serious learning curve coming our way when Claire can express her own opinions – just this morning Evelyn explained to me how she is the boss over Claire and all that she does. <sigh> It’s inevitable.
Today, at least, they are the happiest of playmates. Let’s just take it one moment at a time.
